With prior experience in scientific research, Telmo Santos has been working in the broad area of technology transfer and university-industry cooperation since 2014 (including roles as TT manager, IP consultant, funding project manager, etc.). 

His professional journey includes, among other positions, an R&D role at DSM Food Specialties (The Netherlands), a sales position at Clarke, Modet & Co., and two Technology Transfer Manager positions at the University of Aveiro and the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (both in Portugal). With a background in Biochemistry, he holds an MSc in Innovation and Technological Entrepreneurship, and a PhD in Management, focusing his research on the dynamics of University-Industry Cooperation.
