Susana Pinheiro is Head of Business Development for the sciences at UPTEC – Science and Technology Park of University of Porto.

She has over 15 years of experience supporting innovation-driven ventures, with a strong focus on biotechnology, health technologies, and science-based startups.

At UPTEC, she leads the selection and strategic growth of knowledge-intensive ventures. She co-developed entrepreneurship programmes, including the School of Startups for Researchers, and has mentored deep-tech founders, helping them shape business models and strategies for knowledge valorisation.
