Salomé Azevedo

Salomé is Head of Digital Health at VOH. Her research focuses on designing, implementing, and evaluating robust and efficient digital health services that contribute to high-quality care. She holds a PhD in Engineering and Management Programme from Instituto Superior Técnico.

Previously, she was a research assistant at Católica-Lisbon SBE, where she was also teaching assistant of Operations Management and Technology Strategy. She was Treasurer, member of the Board of Directors, and previously, worked as Platform Manager at Patient Innovation Association. Salomé did an internship at Carnegie Mellon University within the scope of User Innovation.

She was a member of the Mentor Jury for the Digital Health Ideas Lab "Digital Health Meets Social Needs" promoted by Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellchaft Institute.

In 2020, Salomé was selected to be part of the Health Parliament Portugal as deputy of the Innovation and Value in Health commission. She holds a VBHC Green Belt Certification from the Decision Institute (Netherlands).
