Matic Meglic MD PhD MBA has started his career as a PhD research fellow, developing and clinically evaluating digital health solutions in mental health and behaviour change. He later served as Chief Information Officer at the National Institute of Public Health of Slovenia and was involved in key eHealth policy initiatives of the European Commission and Large Scale Pilots, including epSOS, Calliope, eHealth Governance Initiative, and Joint Action on Patient Registries (where he was Principal Investigator).

He then led Digital Health business for Medtronic’s EMEA region, building an organization that launched solutions in space of remote patient monitoring and patient engagement. The last four years he is working for Novartis, where he first led the development of Customer Solutions for Region Europe and is currently responsible for Global Industry Partnerships. He has been serving on the board of SNOMED International (global medical terminology) since 2017.
