Juliana Alves holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from ICBAS – Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar, University of Porto. She has over a decade of research experience in Health Sciences, with more than 30 scientific articles published in international journals.

She has participated in several collaborative research projects and, since 2019, has initially worked as a researcher and later as a project manager in European projects focused on developing innovative solutions in the health sector. She has also contributed to the Resolve-Health Acceleration Program, promoting technology transfer and value creation in healthcare.

Her career combines a strong R&D background with expertise in innovation, including project management, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship.

Since March 2024, Juliana has been part of the Health Cluster Portugal team, working as an Innovation Project Manager.
