Cristiana Costa is the Coordinator of the Impact, Testing, and Validation Unit at IPN, leading efforts to accelerate market access for emerging healthcare technologies. The unit specialises in implementing rigorous, agile, and compliant pre-clinical and clinical testing methodologies, ensuring credibility, regulatory alignment, and investor confidence in digital health innovations. With an MSc in Economic Studies from the University of Coimbra, she has been managing and coordinating European-funded projects (H2020, EIT Health, DEP) since 2015, fostering strategic collaborations between startups, healthcare institutions, researchers, and regulators. Currently, she oversees a team of project managers and more than 10 international initiatives, including the European coordination of VR Health Champions (I3 funding), TrainR4U (EIT Health), and the national coordination of TEF-Health (DEP/ANI funding), driving the validation and market adoption of innovative health solutions.
