Catarina Calado holds an Integrated Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon (2021) and a postgraduate qualification in Clinical Research from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (2025). She has been working at INFARMED, I.P. since 2020, initially conducting market surveillance activities in the areas of medical devices and cosmetic products, and since 2024, has been primarily dedicated to the process management and assessment of clinical investigations and performance studies of medical devices. As a member of the MDCG Working Group on Clinical Investigation and Evaluation, Performance Studies and Evaluation, she is also involved in the COMBINE project and the Pilot Coordinated Assessment.
