Carolina Travassos
Carolina Travassos holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, with a specialization in Imaging and Radiation, from the University of Coimbra, and a postgraduate qualification in Medical Devices from Coimbra Health School. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Coimbra, where her research focuses on developing a novel technology for non‑invasive somatosensory stimulation within the magnetic resonance environment.
Since May 2025, Carolina has been part of the Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN), where she now serves as a Client Manager. In this role, she works at the intersection of innovation and technology transfer, supporting companies and research teams in bringing health‑tech and medical device solutions from concept to clinical and commercial implementation.
